John Boynton
John is based in the East Midlands. He has been a classroom practitioner for over 39 years within the secondary sector. As a senior leader, he was very much involved with staff development, ITT and NQT induction. He is a governor in two primary schools and works on a consultancy basis with three Midlands HE establishments, involved with teacher training, and for EMLC (East Midlands Leadership Centre). He was invited to contribute to the writing of EMLC's, Established Leaders training programme; launched in July 2006 as an NCSL pilot, and co-facilitated delivery to the first cohort.
An accredited Behaviour & Learning Management Assertive Discipline® trainer since 1995, John has a wealth of experience delivering Behaviour & Learning Management training sessions to PGCE, GTP trainees and whole school staff. John has a lively and enthusiastic delivery style. His sessions have pace and humour and cater for a variety of learning styles, blending theory, reflection and practical activities and draw on the personal experiences of the trainer and the trainees.
