This is the training the trainers course that tells you how to present and lead the Assertive Discipline® programme in your school. This day is for those who have already undertaken training in Assertive Discipline® and who now wish to become qualified and registered leaders in the programme themselves.  This new certificate course prepares you to provide consultation and training to others, and includes skills such as:

  • auditing the school's needs
  • positioning the programme to meet those needs
  • presentation skills
  • coaching staff in the Assertive Discipline® method
  • performance management

The issues we deal with relate to how best to teach teachers, and how to bring about change in the face of resistance - from adults as well as pupils! We therefore address 5 key questions -

  • What do you want people to do? (specify the teaching tasks)
  • Who is responsible for doing this? (all staff or some?)
  • How will you lead this? (CPD differentiation?)
  • When will you do it? (time lines for various stages)
  • Why are you doing it? (the ethics of teaching behaviour!)

If you complete this day we are able to register you as an accredited leader - and you will get your certificate that says so!
